Indian Deseert: Yummy and Amazing Shahi Pudding

Dedicated to the occasion of my brother’s 25th wedding anniversary, I made this very special Shahi Pudding for them to enjoy this festive and landmark occasion.

Sahi Pudding


Custard Powder: ½ bowl

Milk: 1 bowl

Vanilla Ice cream (Any flavor that you like): 1 bowl

Sweet Cake or Plain cake which you like: 1 small packet

Any creamy Biscuit or flavor that you like

Fruits: Mango Apple, Grapes, Blackberry etc. (whatever is available in your household)

Multi Flavored Fruit Jelly: 2 tablespoon

Chocolates Chips for garnishing


  1. In custard, add two teaspoon milk and mix the custard thoroughly. Now add the mixed custard in one bowl of milk. Now heat it and mix it for 5-7 minutes. Add sugar to it and mix it completely.
  2. Now heat one bowl of water and add two tablespoon of fruit jelly to it. Heat the water for 5-7 minutes till it comes to a boil. Now put it in the fridge for half an hour.
  3. Take a big transparent pudding bowl and now make layers in this order:
  4. Biscuits
  5. Custard
  6. Chopped Fruits
  7. Vanilla Ice Cream
  8. Small Pieces of Cake
  9. Fruit jelly
  10. Custard
  11. Whatever is remaining, add that now in layers
  12. Vanilla Ice cream

Now garnish it with chocolate chips.

The yummy Shahi Pudding is ready to eat. Enjoy!!!!

High protein diet … A Middle Eastern cuisine…. brought to India centuries ago by the Mughals to Lucknow

Dahi Kabab


Hung Curd: 1 bowl

Grated Panner: 1/2 bowl

Roasted Gram dal Powder: 1 tbsp

Coriander Leaves: 2 tbsp

Grated Chili: 1tsp

Spices: Salt, Red Pepper, Garam Masala, Chaat Masala and Jeera Powder

Vegetable oil: 2 tbsp

1) Take  all ingredients in one bowl and mix it properly.hung cur

2) Now make round shaped rolls of it.

3) Put pan on the gas then add oil and  heat on medium flame

4) Put the rolls in the pan and do shallow fry on both sides.

Dahi Kabab is ready to be eaten with tomato sauce or any dip and enjoyed with the family.

Homemade Butterscotch Icecream!

Melted sugar, Caramel, butter, and a dash of vanilla on  Butterscotch ice cream is a very famous and on demand ice cream in Parlours.
I tried this in my Zayka kitchen and from now, no need to go to ice cream parlour for my family:)

So enjoy this yummy butterscotch ice cream combo and beat the heat.

Butter Scotch Icecream


Cream: 200 ml

Milk: ½ cup

Milk Powder: 2 tablespoon

Butter scotch essence: ½ teaspoon

Vanilla essence: 5-6 drops

Crushed Sugar: 4 tablespoon

Chopped cashew nuts- 2 tablespoon

Butter-1 tablespoon


  1. Put pan on the  gas. Now add 2 tablespoon crushed sugar, caramel and chopped cashew nuts in the pan. Saute the above and mix 1 tablespoon butter in it. Switch off the gas. Take the mixture out in a plate and spread it. When the mixture cools down, churn in the mixture to make it coarse (dardara).
  1. Take two bowls. Add cream in one bowl and chilled water in other bowl. Put cream bowl on chilled water bowl and whip it properly with hand blender or beater for 5-7 minutes. When cream is whipped, then put away the blender.
  2. Add milk powder, crushed sugar and milk in the whipped cream above. Now whip this mixture again with hand blender for one minute.
  3. Add caramelized cashew nut mixture ( prepared in step 1) and butter scotch essence in cream mixture and mix it properly with spoon.
  4. Now put this mixture in air tight container and keep it in freezer for 7-8 hours to set it.

Now the ice-cream is ready to be enjoyed by your family!


King of Fruits Recipe: AMRAKHAND

Mango is known as the kings of fruit but in my household it is the king of my kids hearts too.

They love having mango dessert especially in this hot hot weather!!

So today I made this healthy AMRAKHAND in afternoon for my son!!!

My son said Mom-Dad, zero glass will be your share:) That yummy and delicious it was.



Mango pulp: 1 bowl

Hung Curd: 1 Bowl

Cardamom Powder: 1/4 teaspoon

Crushed Sugar-  4 tablespoon or as per taste

Chopped dry nuts ( as per taste)

Saffron- 10-15 leaves


  1. Take curd in a big size bowl add .Add mango pulp and sugar in the curd
  2. Mix it properly with spoon. Sieve the mixture and take it out in a bowl
  3. Mix Cardamom powder in the bowl and now garnish the mixture with chopped dry nuts.
  4. Now keep the mixture in freezer for 2-3 hours.

Serve them in small bowls and enjoy the delicious Amrakhand with family :).

King of Fruits Recipe: Tasty Mango Mint Smoothie

Today I made Mango Mint Smoothie for my hubby and his reaction after drinking was: Thanda Thanda Cool Cool!!

Mango Pulp: 1 bowl ( grind the mangoes in a mixer to make it in a pulp. You can add water if its too thick for your taste)

Sugar: 2 tablespoon

Fine Chopped Mint Leaves: 2 tablespoon

Crushed Ice: 1 bowl

Black salt: pinch or as per taste

Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon


  1.  Mix  mango pulp, lemon juice, chopped mint, black salt and sugar properly with spoon in big size bowl or in a mixer.
  2. Add crushed ice in the glass and pour the mango smoothie in it.

Mango Mint Smoothie is ready and serve this tasty drink to your family!


Kids Favorite: Mastani Pudding

Today Evening, I prepared a very special dish Mastani Pudding (without fire) for my guests at home.

Mastani Pudding


Vanilla Ice cream  (quantity as per requirement)

Sweet Cake or Plain cake which you like: 1 small packet

Fruits: Apple, Grapes, Mango etc. or whatever is available in your household

Chocolates and vermicelli or M&M or Indian Candy Gems for kids for garnishing

Chopped Dry Nuts: 1 tablespoon

Mango Puree: 1/2 bowl

Strawberry Crush: 2 tablespoon


Take a transparent glass and now make layers in this order:

  1. Sweet cake
  2. Strawberry crush
  3. Chopped Fruits
  4. Crushed chocolate
  5. Mango Puree
  6. Vanilla Cream
  7. Garnish it with grated chocolate pieces, dry nuts and vermicelli.

The yummy mastani pudding is ready to eat. Enjoy!!!!

You can keep it for 30-60 minutes in freezer if required.



Mango Rabri

On demand members, today i make Yummilicious mango Rabri

Milk-1 lit

Chopped Mango-2 bowl or as per your taste

Sugar-1/4 bowl or as per your taste

Chopped Almond-1 tbsp

Elaichi (Cardamom) powder-1/4 tsp

Chopped Pista (Pistachio)- 1 tsp

  1. Put pan on gas, add milk and heat on medium flame. When milk boil and stir continuously with spoon till it becomes 1/3rd of quantity
  2. Add 1 bowl mango and sugar and half quantity of dry nuts then mixed it properly. Put off gas.
  3. Take it out in large size bowl then garnish wit remaining chopped mango and dry nuts.
  4. Keep it in fridge for 1-2 hours to make it cool and chilled.

Now Mango rabdi is ready to serve and enjoy with family and friends.
