Today is a special day for zayka family as we are celebrating 1st anniversary of our group….
So to celebrate this special day I prepared THAL KI BARFI….my Hubby’s favorite…
As said that behind every successful woman there is a man….who inspire you to make delicious food..Thaal burbi


Grated Mawa-1 bowl

Grated Paneer-1 bowl

Crushed Sugar-3/4 bowl

Cardamom powder-1tsp

Chopped  Pista (Pistacheu)



  1. Put pan on gas then add ghee. Heat it on medium flame
  2. Add mawa and sauté for 8-10 minutes then add grated paneer. Mix properly while doing sauté for 8-10 minutes. Put off gas.
  3. Now cool it in Pan till it becomes light warm.
  4. Mix Sugar and Cardamom powder properly.
  5. Greasing the thhal or thali with ghee then spread burfi mixture evenly.
  6. Garnish with Chopped pistathen kept in fridge for 1-2 hours to set it. Take out from fridge and cut the pieces.

Now thal ki Burfi is ready to serve and enjoy with friends and family


Anant Chaudas Special

Happy ananat choudas…..all of you.

Ganesh ji ki vidai.. . Here we celebrate Anant Chaudas with besan ke. delicious ladoo …roath and tadke wala vegetable raita.

Besan ke Laddu

Mota(Dardara) Besan – 250 gm

Ghee – 150 gm

Crushed Sugar – 200 gm or as you like

Elaichi Powder – 5-6 pieces

Chopped Almonds pista and coconut powder-1/2 bowl.


Whole wheat flour- 2 bowl

Pure ghee- 4 tbsp

Salt as per taste

Ajwain-1/2 tsp

Vegetable Raita:

Curd: 1 bowl

Chopped Kheera: 2 tbsp

Chopped Cabbage: 2 tbsp

Chopped Capsicum: 2tbsp

Chopped green chilli:1 tsp

Sugar : 1/.2  tsp

A pinch of salt

Spices: Chaat Masala, Whole piece of Red chili cut in 4 pieces , Curry Leaves, Mustard Seeds, Turmeric – as per tatse

Olive Oil: 4-5 drops



  1. Take a pan and heat ghee and besan together on slow flame for 30 minutes.
  2. Now keep it aside for 5 minutes and add sugar and elaichi powder and nuts in it and mix it properly.
  3. Make circular balls or besan ke laddu now when the mixture is warm.


  1. Mix whole wheat flour, 2tbsp ghee, salt, ajwain and water to make it tight dough like a puri dough.
  2. Make it circular bowl then make it thick chappati.
  3. Put tava on gas and half cook the chappati on both side. Take it of chappati from tawa and make the design with finger tips then again cook on both side on medium flame. When cook it then put off gas.
  4. Now spread the pure ghee on both side.


  1. Mash curd in a bowl so it is of a desired smooth texture. Add water if it is too thick.

2) Add sugar and mix the curd thoroughly. Mix all vegetables  in the curd. Add a pinch of salt and chaat masala as per taste.

3) Take a pan and put 4-5 drops of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, put mustard seeds, curry leaves and 4 pieces of whole red chill.  Add a pinch of turmeric and immediately add it to curd mixture.

The tatsy Indian besan laddu, roath and  mixed vegetable raita is ready to eat to celebrate Anant Chaudas perve!!!!

Potato – 2large boiled, peeled nd grated
paneer- 2 tblspn grated
Salt to taste
Chilli powder / Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Oregano – 1/2 tsp
Cornflour – 2 to 3 tblspn or more as needed
1tsp chat masala
1/2 tbsp chopped coriander
Oil for Deep frying

1. Cornflour and oil ko chodkar ek bowl mai grated potato and paneer nd all other ingredients ko acche se mix kar le 2. Now add cornflour and mix well.mix then dough ready kar le aur 1 hr ke liye fridge mai rakh de.

3. Take out from fridge and equal portion mai divide kar le, each portion ki ball bana le, ab ek ball le aur esko hatho se daba kar flat karke round shape bana le, ab ek pencil ki help se two eyes bana le and spoon ki help se smile bana le and esi tarah se aur smilies bhi bana le
4. Heat oil for deep frying. ab ek ek karke smilies ko oil mai Drop kare t and fry on mid flame till it is crispy.

Serve with ketchup.



Paneer Phool Makhane ki gravy wali Sabzi

Phool Makhana


Paneer: 200 gm

Phool Makhane: 1 bowl

Tomatoes: 4 piece

Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 or 2 tbsp as per choice

Chopped Green Chili:  2 pieces

Cashew Nut Powder: 2 tbsp

Olive Oil: 2 tbsp

Coriander Leaves

Butter or cream as your taste

Spices: Salt, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric , Coriander Powder, Garam Masala,  Jeera or Cumin Seeds, Asafetida, Kasuri Methi


1) Put tomatoes in mixer for 2-3 minutes.  Now remove the outer cover and make puree of the rest in mixer-grinder.

2) Cut Paneer in square cubes.

3) Put pan on gas and add 1 tsp oil and heat it then add phool makhane and roast it on medium flame for 8-10 minutes. Take out phool makhane from pan.

4) Add oil in a deep pan. Once the oil becomes hot,  add asafetida and jeera.

5) Add ginger garlic paste and let it cook for 3-5 minutes.

6) Add tomato puree to the pan now along with all the spices mentioned above ( except asafetida, jeera,kasuri methi and garam masala)

9) Cook the mixture now till it starts to leave oil on the sides.

10) Now add phool makhane and paneer to the mixture and mix them well.

11) Depending on the thickness of the gravy needed, you can add boiling water also as per your choice.

12) Add cashew nut powder, garam masala and kasuri methi in the end. Mix them well. and put butter or cream on it.

13) Garnish with coriander leaves and chopped green chili.

Serve shaandaar phool makhana paneer with garma garam paratha or phulka to your family members.


Ice Cream Cake

Surprise ice cream cake for my beloved daughter in law….

Today is a special day for my family we are celebrating birthday of my sweet kitchen partner…so I decided to surprise her….. I made cake with a twist and more important I have to keep it surprise so i made it in midnight…

Vanilla Cake

Vanilla essence-1tsp

All purpose flour-1 1/2 cups

Sugar-1 cup

Baking powder-1tsp Pinch salt

Hot water-1cup

Vinegar -1tbsp

Oil- 5tbsp

Chocolate cake:

Cocoa powder -2tbsp

All purpose flour-1 1/2 cups

Sugar-1 cup

Baking powder-1tsp

Pinch salt

Milk-3/4 cup

Oil- 5tbsp

Mango Ice cream or any flavour you like

Coconut powder-2 tbsp

Chocolate balls-8-10



1) Sieve your dry ingredients in a bowl. Then mix wet ingredients and beat it for 4-5 minutes

2) Do the same thing for Chocolate cake!

3) Now, both batter is ready. Take a cake tin and brush it with oil.

4) Transfer the batter by one layer of chocolate and one layer of vanilla. You can put 2-3 layers alternately.

5) Place in the preheated (180 degrees) oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.

6) The cake is done when you see brown colour on the top or the toothpick comes out clean.

7) Cool it on a rack for 10 minutes and then transfer to a plate.

8) Keep it in freezer for 2 hours to chill it then take out in plate.

9) Divide into two parts by large size knife then spread one layer of mango ice cream on one part and put the second part on it then again spread mango ice cream layer.

10) Spread coconut powder and vermicillies then decorate with chocolate balls.

11) Kept in freezer for one hours to set it.

Tip- Put icecream on chilled cake otherwise ice crem will melt.

Jodhpuri Payaz Kachori in air fryer

Kachori time…. ..

Its raining in jodhpur so I decided to serve garma garm payaz kachori to my family but no oil… I made jodhpuri payaz kachori in air fryer. .

Enjoy everyone…..

 Airfryier pyaz ki kachori


All Purpose Flour or Maida -1bowl

Vegetable Oil: 3-4  tablespoon for moin

Salt – As per taste

Pyaaz ki kachori Masala:

Gram Flour-4tbsp

Onion: 4 medium size pieces

Ginger: 1 piece

Green Chili: 2 -3 pieces

Coriander Leaves

Spices – As per taste: Salt, Crushed Black pepper, Red Pepper, Crushed Coriander, Garam Masala, Dry mango Powder ( Amchoor), Black Salt

Vegetable oil- 3tbsp for saute and brushing the kachori


Pyaaz ki Kachori Dough:

  1. Take All Purpose Flour or Maida and put vegetable oil and salt in it. Make dough out of it ( not too tight or loose).
  2. Cover it with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Pyaaz ki Kachori Masala

  1. Put two tbsp oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, put the chopped onions and saute till it becomes light pink then add gram flour and do sauté for 8-10 minutes.. Add all the spices mentioned above and then mix them thoroughly. After heating it for 5 minutes on slow heat, take the masala in a plate and keep it aside so that it can become at room temperature.

Making of Pyaaz ki Kachori:

  1. Take the dough and divide them into thin circular shaped balls like chapati. Roll them into flat piece (size of a regular puri).
  2. To make kachoris roll out each portion of the dough into a 2.5 inch diameter circle.
  3. Place the masala now in the center of the rolled out portion.
  4. Slowly stretch the dough to surround the filling with the dough.
  5. Seal the ends tightly and remove excess dough.
  6. Roll each filled portion into a 2 inch diameter circle to ensure that the masala does not come out.
  7. Now press the center of the kachori with your thumb in a easy manner.
  8. Pre heat airfryier for 5-8 minutes.
  9. Brush the kachori ball with oil for shining then put in the airfryier for 20-25 minutes. After 10 minutes of putting the fryier then chang e the side of the kachori

Now khaasta  Jodhpuri pyaaz ki kachori is ready to serve  with garma garam chai ( Indian Tea) and tomato sauce/green chutney….Enjoy!!


Sunday evening aur kuch special na ho… thats no fair……

So I made Sindhi dish in my Sunday special menu dal pakwan



Gram Dal-1 bowl

Gram Flour-1tsp

Wheat flour-1tsp

Mango powder-1tsp


Fresh curd-2bsp

Spices-Salt, Turmeric powder. Mustard seeds, Hing, Red chilli powder ,Garam masala as per your taste

Ghee- 1tbsp


All purpose flour-2 bowl



Ghee/ oil-4tbsp for moin

Vegetable oil for fry

Vegetables for garnishing

Chopped Onion, Tomato, Kheera, Green chilli, Ginger, Coriander- 1 bowl

Nylon sev-1/2 bowl

Coriander chutney



  1. Wash the gram dal properly
  2. Put cooker on high flame then add wash dal, one glass of water, salt and turmeric powder. Take one whistle. Put off the gas.
  3. Take one bowl then add fresh curd, mango powder, sugar, whole wheat flour and gram flour and mix it properly
  4. Switch on gas then mix curd mixture in dal and stir with spoon for 10-15 minutes on low flame. Keep dal thick. Put off gas.
  5. Put pan on the gas then add ghee on low flame. Add mustard seeds, hing,red chilli powder and garam masala then mix it in the dal.


  1. Mix all purpose flour, ajwain, salt ghee and water to make tight dough like puri.
  2. Make round ball and make large size puri. Poke it with fork.
  3. Put pan on gas then add oil and heat on high flame till smoking point then do it on low flame
  4. Now put puri and fry on both side till it becomes kurkuri then take it out on bloating paper to soaked extra oil.
  5. Take the pakwan in plate and 1-2 service spoon dal then garnish  with  chopped  vegetables then with coriander chutney and nylon sev.

Now dal pakwan is ready to serve and enjoy with family….My family enjoyed a lot and their smiling and satisfied expression made me happy and proud…
