Amla Murabba

Ingredients:

Amla: 1/2kg.

Sugar: 1kg.

Phiitkari (Alum) powder: 1tbsp

Recipe:        

  1. Wash the amla with water properly.
  1. Prick the amla with fork from all side.
  1. Dip the amla in phitkari water for two days
  2. Throw the water and wash Amla with water properly.
  3. Boil the amla for 10-15 minutes at high flame,
  4. Take out Amla from water then add sugar immediately so sugar will melt.
  5. Cover with plate for 2 days.
  6. Take out amla and put sugar syrup on gas and boil it for 20-25 minutes before 1 tar chasni
  7. Then add amla into it and boil for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Amla should be dipped in sugar syrup. If needed then add sugar during boiling.

Amla murabba is ready to eat and enjoying with family.

Butter free Eggless Suji with Coconut Cake

Today I made healthy & butter free egg less suji with coconut cake for my kid:

Ingredients:

Suji:1/2 cup

All purpose flour or whole wheat flour/ : 1cup

Sugar: 3/4 cup

Coconut powder: ¾ cup

Milk: 1cup

Vanilla Essence : 1 tbsp

Olive Oil: 2 tbsp

Baking soda: 1 tbsp

Cinnamon Powder : 1 tsp

Pinch of salt

Recipe:

1) Sieve the suji and all purpose flour or whole wheat flour: Mix all the ingredients.

2) Put milk in the mix ingredients for 8-10 minutes so that the batter becomes fluffy.

3) Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

4) Take the baking pan and grease it with oil. Now pour the batter in it. Immediately put it in the preheated oven and bake it for 30-40 minutes.

 

Yummy butter free eggless suji with coconut cake is ready and garnish with aam papad and chocolate nuts to eat.

Corn Vegetable Dalia (Porridge)

Ingredients:

Corn Dalia: 1 bowl

Peas: 1/2 bowl

Tomatoes: 2 pieces

Capsicum: 1 piece

Cabbage: 1 bowl grated

Spinach: 10-12 leaves

Green Chili: 2 pieces

Ginger: 1 piece

Coriander Leaves

Olive oil: 1 tablespoon

Water: 4 bowls

Spices: Mustard Seeds, Asafetida, Salt, Red Chilli flakes, Tumeric Powder and Garam Masala.

 Recipe:

  1. Chop all the vegetables, green chili and ginger first.
  2. Take a pressure cooker and add oil to it. Once the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds and asafetida to it.
  3. Add all the chopped vegetables, green peas, green chili and ginger now . Saute them for 2-3minutes.
  4. Add salt, garam masala and turmeric to it and mix them well.
  5. Now add Corn dalia to it and add water to it.
  6. Close the cooker lid and cook it on high flame till 4-5 whistles come.
  7. After 4-5 whistles, switch off the gas and let the steam go away on its own from pressure cooker.
  8. Once the steam has passed, open the lid and garnish the Corn dalia with Chilli flakes and coriander leaves.

Serve the healthy corn vegetable dalia hot

Restaurant Style Zaykedaar Daal Makhani

Yesterday I prepared delicious daal makhani which is my husband’s favorite for lunch. And it turned out to be amazingly tasty.

Here is the recipe:

daal tadka

Ingredients:

½ Bowl of Whole Urad Lentils,

½ Bowl Rajma

½ Bowl Whole Masoor Lentils

Onion: 3 Medium sized pieces (2 for mixture and one for garnishing)

Tomato: 2 Medium size pieces

Garlic: 5-6 individual small pieces

Ginger: 1 small piece

Coriander Leaves

Whole Green Chili : 1 piece

Red Chili: Kasmiri Powder 1/2tsp

Spice: Salt, Dhania powder, Garam Masala, Cumin seeds, Cumin powder (jeera powder), asafetida (hing) and Bay leaves (2 pieces)

Butter: 4-5 cubes

Desi Ghee: 2tsp

Recipe:

1) Wash the lentils with water and soaked for 4-5 hours

2) Grind onion, tomato, garlic, green chilli and ginger in mixer.

3) Put the lentils, 3 -4 bowl water, salt and bay leaves in a pressure cooker and  boil it

4) Heat the pressure cooker at medium heat till 5-7 whistles comes.

5) Open the lid of the pressure cooker.

6) Put 2 tsp desi ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, asafetida (hing).Then add grinded mixture and cook for 15-20 minutes. Now add spices as above.

7) Add the boiled lentils and 1-2 bowls of water in it. Cook it till boiled at medium heat.

8) Now garnish with onion rings coriander leaves and butter cubes

The tasty and delicious daal makahani is ready to serve with chapati or parantha  or naan or rice.
